Things are happenin

I seem to have finnaly jump started my life as a musician. I was stuck in a rut for the last three or four years and i was pretty upset that i wasn't acomplishing the things i should have been. Now i think i am on course to at least improve drastically from playing all the time.

Last week i rehersed wednesday night, played a show thursday night then jammed till the wee hours. Friday i went and saw a show at steamers and got up on stage with one band and played along with them. Saturday my band played a Geurilla concert in fernwood square, which got shut down as a play started in the belfry, But the people from the george and dragon invited the bands into jam there which we did till closing. Then after we rocked 'em so hard all night, the offered us a weekly jam night there. pretty cool cool again.

we were going to play a show at felicita's on the 1st but got bumped off the bill as we couldn't play till late and the girl organizing it would have none of that as she already had a headliner. Then by fluke she came and saw our outdoor show on saturday, and called me up sunday sheepishly asking if we would consider being back on the bill playing whenever was convenient for us. tight.

I played a jazz gig sunday morning and went through some charts i got for a gig on friday.
i now have gigs as follows.
thursday rehersal for christmas concert at brenwood colledge
friday concert
sunday gig at fireside grill, then in evening rock show for a big group buiseness x-mas party

and it goes on

it feels like i am finnaly a musician

i am stoked

also ifinnaly got my new surfboard yesterday and it is so sexy i can barelky handle it
