Marmaduke
Funny how yesterday's post was saying that i have finnaly found inspiration from a musician after many years of longing. well today i found my new band. THE band that will bring a new chapter in my life. They are three musicians from York England, very talented and exactly what i have been searching for musically since i left my jazz combo in grade 11. There was an amazing instant chemistry between us all as soon as we play the first few notes tonight. Locked in right away and grooving. The vibe was so powerful i was screaming out loud in my car on the way home out of pure joy. We played two songs togerther and i was so excited i had to go wash my hands to get the sweat off of them, and when i returned to the room, they asked me to join the band. it was like some other force brought us together, a perfect combination. The drummer and guitar player are incredibly tight and the female singer is outstanding. Her voice is beautiful and very powerful as well. i don't even know how i am going to deal with it until the next rehersal, we may go down and preform at darcy's right after it on monday night. we could have tonight i'm sure. it was instantly together and tight. 60's style groovy R&B rock that isn't blow-your-ears-off loud. all the instruments are audible and at a decent volume so that you can really hear whats going on, like a jazz group almost. I am so excited i don't think i'll be able to sleep! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! shit. the band is called Marmaduke
